The Azure Landing Zones is a set of standards in design, implementation guidelines, best practices and tools. Azure has been around since 2010 and the Landing Zones should promote standardisation. Therefore, this standard represents a benchmark that should guarantee quality for every Azure implementation.

Standard operating procedure
NovaGen delivers standardised Azure Landing Zones that ensure a predictable journey to the Azure Cloud. Moreover, our approach ensures that this journey is controlled and step-by-step, after all, it’s not every day that the foundation is laid for your Azure Cloud.

Best practices Landing Zones
We use the following process for implementation:
- A project leader or scrum master guides all steps so the journey is controlled and predictable
- Through workshops, we establish the design and present it for approval. On request, the design can be validated by Microsoft.
- The entire environment is delivered in code, so there is one truth about what Azure should look like
- For fast deployment of the Landing Zones we deliver an example pipeline and code. This enables you to put applications into production immediately
- Clear transfer of knowledge or professional services. This choice is aimed at giving you the choice to manage the Landing Zones yourself or to use the services of NovaGen to purchase the management as a service
